The Information Trust Exchange Governing Association, a nonprofit forum,  and The Local Media Consortium, an association of over 80 media companies operating 2,200 local sites, invites agencies, publishers, privacy advocates, academia, public interest and consumer protection organizations and technologists to join in a multistakeholder process to develop consumer-focused privacy practices that will be implemented by members of the Consortium and others.

The convening — “Trust, Identity and Data Privacy: A Multistakeholder Approach” — will run from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wed., April 24, and resume from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thurs., April 25, at the Pew Research Center, 1615 L. Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20036 (at 17th St.)  Seating is limited; there is no application or registration fee.
